My Principal Banned My Boyfriend From School Grounds Because Of His Private Online Job — So I Exposed Her Own Secret Subscription

Part 1

Two massive boxes of lab equipment bit into my palms as I struggled down the pristine hallway of my strict religious academy.

Because the supplier had delivered our materials to the wrong address, Tyler offered to lug them up to my second-floor classroom before tomorrow’s big physics demonstration.

After handing over his ID at the front desk and pinning a temporary visitor badge to his shirt, he walked right beside me through the crowded corridor without a single thing to hide.

His actual career, however, would have given our conservative administration an absolute heart attack.

In a tightly guarded secret, Tyler runs a highly lucrative online content business on a private subscription platform.

The deeply religious school board would never understand something like that, even though the content is entirely legal and strictly separated from my professional life.

My family simply believed he worked as a digital marketing consultant, allowing our careful balancing act to work flawlessly until yesterday afternoon.

Around the corner from the main office, we nearly collided head-on with our notoriously strict principal, Brenda, who constantly reprimands students for the slightest uniform infractions.

The sight of Tyler carrying the boxes made her stop dead in her tracks, prompting me to quickly introduce him as my boyfriend to defuse the awkwardness.

Instead of offering a polite greeting in return, Brenda simply dragged her gaze slowly down Tyler’s neck and torso.

After a painfully long pause, she finally stammered out a question about whether they had ever met before.

Tyler flashed his practiced customer service smile and gently replied that he didn’t think so, causing a dark red flush to creep up Brenda’s neck.

She took a hurried step backward and muttered a frantic excuse about checking on the school buses before practically sprinting away from us down the corridor.

I chalked the bizarre encounter up to her usual social awkwardness, spending the next thirty minutes safely organizing the new physics spheres up in my classroom.

A quick kiss of gratitude was all I could offer before sending him home to finish my lesson plans, foolishly believing the weird incident was entirely over.

Later that evening, Tyler and I were laughing together in our kitchen while preparing dinner.

When my phone buzzed loudly against the granite countertop, I wiped tomato sauce off my hands before picking up the device to check the glowing screen.

Seeing a direct message from Brenda immediately set off alarm bells, considering the principal never contacted teachers on their personal devices outside of dire emergencies.

A cold sweat prickled the back of my neck as I read her demand for my immediate presence in her office at seven o’clock the next morning.

To make matters infinitely worse, she specifically noted that Heather from human resources would be attending the early morning meeting.

My voice cracked on the final word as I read the ominous message out loud to Tyler.

I rapidly scrolled through my memory of the school day, searching frantically for any unlit lab burners or spilled chemicals.

Setting down his wooden spoon, Tyler leaned against the counter as a slow and knowing smirk formed on his lips.

He raised an eyebrow, suggesting the principal had probably recognized him from his private page.

I immediately shot down the theory as impossible, given that Brenda struggled to handle simple video calls and was the last person on earth to navigate a paid subscription site.

Tyler just shrugged and let me live in my state of desperate denial, but sleep completely evaded me throughout the endless night.

I tossed and turned until the alarm clock finally blared like a physical blow, dragging me out of bed to put on my most conservative professional outfit.

Driving to the school in complete silence, my car pulled into the empty staff parking lot before the sun had even risen over the football field.

I navigated my way toward the administrative wing, swallowing hard against a dry throat as a bright light spilled out into the corridor from under the heavy wooden door of Brenda’s office.

I drew a steadying breath and pushed the door open to find Brenda and Heather already waiting behind the massive mahogany desk with their hands tightly folded.

The only sound in the small room was the relentless ticking of the wall clock as I took my seat in the wooden chair across from them to brace myself for the worst.

A stack of printed screenshots rested plainly on the mahogany desk, eliminating any doubt about the purpose of this meeting.
