My Son Faked A Severe Medical Condition To Get His Teacher Fired — And It Worked Perfectly

Part 1

I stared at the steering wheel of my truck, completely unaware that the bizarre morning I was having would end with my twelve-year-old son in handcuffs.

Well, not literal handcuffs, but I was ready to lock him up myself by the end of the day.

When Tyler walked out of his bedroom that morning, my protective instincts instantly flared up.

His small hands were twitching against his sides.

It wasn’t a normal fidget.

His knuckles kept curling inward, snapping back with a jerky, unnatural rhythm.

I tried to brush it off as morning jitters.

But as we climbed into the cab of my truck, the movements only grew more violent.

His arms started jerking against the seatbelt.

I kept stealing glances at him through the rearview mirror.

He was biting the inside of his cheek so hard I thought he might draw blood.

Every few seconds, his left leg would spasm, kicking the glove compartment.

I pulled out of our driveway, my stomach tightening with genuine concern.

Tyler, buddy, are you feeling alright?

My son kept his eyes glued to the passing trees.

Yeah, Dad, I’m totally fine.

His voice trembled just a fraction.

I just keep twitching and I don’t know why.

He squeezed his eyes shut as another full-body shudder racked his small frame.

This was terrifying to watch.

I gripped the steering wheel, my mind racing through every terrible medical article I had ever read.

I told him I would pick him up early and take him straight to the doctor.

He just nodded weakly, his shoulder jerking upward.

I pulled up to the curb in front of the middle school.

I dropped him off at the front gate, watching him stumble slightly as he walked up the concrete steps.

My gut screamed at me to just take him to the hospital right then.

I ignored it, driving off to my office instead.

That was my first massive mistake.

The commute to work felt longer than usual.

My mind was totally consumed by the image of my son shaking in the passenger seat.

Not even ten minutes after I booted up my work computer, my cell phone vibrated violently against my desk.

Caller ID flashed the name Mr. Henderson.

He was Tyler’s homeroom teacher, a man known for his incredibly short temper and lack of patience.

I assumed this was just another minor disciplinary issue.

I swiped to answer, pressing the speaker to my ear.

What the hell is wrong with your son?

The voice on the other end was so deafeningly loud I had to physically pull the phone away from my head.

I blinked at the drywall of my cubicle, completely stunned.

What do you mean, is he okay?

Mr. Henderson let out a heavy, furious breath that crackled through the microphone.

Your little brat of a son will not stop verbally assaulting me in front of the entire class.

I froze in my desk chair.

My quiet, twitchy kid was verbally assaulting a teacher?

That made absolutely no sense.

But then, through the awful static of the phone connection, I heard a second voice in the background.

F you, Mr. Henderson!

My blood ran cold.

The screeching, high-pitched voice was unmistakably Tyler’s.

Was that my son?

I gripped the edge of my desk, my knuckles turning white.

Yes, and he has been screaming vile profanities at me since the morning bell rang.

Mr. Henderson didn’t even sound like a teacher anymore.

He sounded like a man pushed to the absolute edge of his sanity.

I shoved the phone into my pocket, bolted out of my office, and practically flew into my truck.

I broke at least three speed limits rushing back to the middle school.

As I pulled into the visitor parking lot, a sudden realization hit me like a physical blow.

Tyler had been twitching uncontrollably all morning.

Now he was suddenly swearing against his own will.

Was he suffering from some kind of severe neurological break?

I ripped the keys out of the ignition and sprinted toward the main entrance.

The heavy glass doors slammed shut behind me as I hurried down the linoleum hallway.

I didn’t even need to ask the front desk where my son was.

I could hear the chaos echoing from the principal’s office at the far end of the corridor.

F you, you stupid piece of garbage!

The venom in my son’s voice was horrifying.

Go crawl under a rock and die!

I rounded the corner, my chest heaving, and burst into the administrative office.

The sight in front of me made my heart drop into my stomach.

Mr. Henderson was standing in the corner, sweating profusely, his face bright red.

Principal Davis was physically holding my twelve-year-old son down in a heavy leather chair.

Tyler was fighting against the hold, his body thrashing wildly.

His arms and legs kept twitching and jerking in terrifying, unpredictable spasms.

Go f yourself!

Tyler screamed the words, throwing his head back against the chair.

I rushed across the room, falling to my knees in front of him.

Tyler, oh my god, what is happening to you?

I reached out, trying to stabilize his trembling shoulders.

Then I noticed the most heartbreaking detail of all.

Tears were streaming heavily down Tyler’s flushed cheeks.

He looked absolutely terrified of his own body.

He snapped his neck to the side, yelling another horrible curse word into the silent office.

He looked up at me, his eyes wide and desperate.

I can’t help it, Dad, I really can’t!

He sobbed the words out, his chin trembling uncontrollably.

Then, without missing a single beat, he followed it up with another violent profanity.

I stared at my twelve-year-old son, his body violently jerking as another vicious curse word tore from his lips, completely unaware that this sudden illness was just the beginning of a much darker nightmare.
