His daughter maybe four years old rested her head on his shoulder sleepy but curious. Emily blinked surprised.

“oh yeah I’m fine just change of plans”. The man nodded gently.

“i get it happens to the best of us”. He shifted his daughter slightly.

“i’m Jake by the way this here is Lily we’re waiting for our pizza to go”. Emily forced a smile.

“nice to meet you both.”
