A Demand for Eviction News of Jerry’s critical condition at the hospital interrupted my plans. Amidst the chaos, Sophia’s cries and the news of Jerry’s peaceful passing overwhelmed me with sorrow. Kelly’s absence during this period, justified by an extended trip, left me to handle the funeral arrangements alone.

This responsibility she casually imposed over the phone. Kelly’s indifference to her father’s death and her expectations for me to manage everything, including Sophia’s care, was shocking.
